Calling All Volunteers, Members, and Supporters!
This year’s Bird Festival will be held Saturday, May 18th 2013
Pick one or more shifts
- Early Bird Shifts from 5:00am-8:00am and 7:00am-10:00am (Parking lot set-up & greeters)
- Morning Shift 9:45am-1:00pm or Afternoon Shift 12:45pm-4:00pm
- Clean-up crew 4:00pm-6:30pm
Lunch provided for volunteers that work 2 or more shifts!
Marty and Wendy are recruiting for the shifts listed above. We will need volunteers to help out in the parking lot (if you’re an early riser please let us know!), at the refuge entrance, welcoming visitors when they arrive, helping to sign-in volunteers, trail rovers, festival set-up and take-down duties. The take-down will begin at 4:00pm. Please sign up early! Email your preferences to: birdfestvol@hotmail.com
Refuge Naturalists – You will be contacted by Gardiner and Jenna. Naturalist sign-ups will be done through them.
Store Volunteers – Sign up through the online calendar as you normally would. There will be 3 shifts with 3 volunteers needed for each shift.
